I have several teams I like: Indians, Dodgers, Red Socks, Rays, Cardinals... Yes, except Cardinals, I keep changing my favorite team. It depends if the team has Korean players. Now in major league, there are two Korean players playing. Shin-soo Choo in Indians and Chan-ho Park in Yankees. It feels very strange. I've never liked Yankees. I used to go for Red Socks (Neither of them is my favorite though. People keep asking me!) For this season I am going to cheer for Yankees. Because the first Kroean major league pitcher Park signed up with Yankees for this season.

During his 14 years of career, he was unlucky when it comes to post season. He appeared last two playoff as a reliever. But he has no champion ring. He signed with Yankees, not Phillies which offered more money.(1.2 million vs 3 million) Mainly because of his eager to win the world series championship. I hope he can get one this season.

You look like a big fan of baseball. My husband is a baseball freak, too. The first thing he does just after his works is checking the result of the games of the league. I loosely know how to play but I am trying to have an interest of it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the teams you support!
My first thing in the morning is also checking Korean baseball league result. Before I go to bed, I should watch ESPN Sports Center to review all the games. Once you know the rules, it would be much more interesting game!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love baseball and basketball. Baseball is my top pick though. My son plays both but is now playing 3rd base and short stop in a kids' league. He's really good and reinforces my addiction (only dated pitchers in high school-and married one). I'm sorry, but Derek Jeter is my man and I root for the Yankees every chance I get. You're not alone though-there are a lot of people who don't like them.
